So I have this warning light on my dash its a yellow triangle with a black exclamation mark. When I looked it up it says timing chain needs to be checked but I also saw it could mean there's a issue in the background?
I also have a Tpms tire light I always dismiss because I removed my tpms sensors when I got aftermarket rims.
So is this the tpms light I dismissed and it shows this to let me know it's in the background or is it actually the timing chain stretching? picture attached

Do you have a way to pull trouble codes? I want to say the exclamation is to warn you of the tpms light, but I've not had mine go off in a while so I'm not positive. But pulling codes should tell you if your chain stretched.
I have a 2011 and when I switch to my track wheels with no tpms sensors I get the triangle as well even after I dismiss it. I would imagine if it was the timeing chain it would show a warning pop up. Then eventually it would get dismissed and put to the triangle but it would most likely cycle through it first. Your still under the powertrain warranty you could always take it in if your worried.
Yeah I have an access port and there are no codes. None at all. Does the dealership check stretch level for free under warranty or does the warranty only cover it if it ends up being stretched and needed replacement. I guess I'll call Monday and set a appt to get it checked to be sure.
This is the TPMS light. The yellow triangle will appear also. If you tried to pull codes and found nothing, fix your tire pressure, or TPM Sensor, and it will go away.
