Hi,

I'm seeking some guidance with rebuilding a newer ayc pump for my Evo X GSR 2011. I've successfully relocated my older pump to the boot and completed two rebuilds without any major issues. However, I recently purchased a newer style pump, which appears to be a different model with slight variations in appearance. Also has a smaller pump plate.

Despite my efforts, I'm struggling to achieve optimal pressure with the rebuild. I'm wondering if you might have any experience with rebuilding these newer pumps or if there are specific details I should be aware of compared to the earlier model.

Not all HEROS wear capes!

I'm on my second pump (dealer replaced 1st under warranty), and they said that these are always ticking time bombs. Good to have options...

 

Dealers often contacted me for pumps. I have a unique recipe for how to make the pump last the entire service life of the car.
