So my Evo has been misfiring ever since I put a new motor in. When I put the motor in I changed everything. (Turbo, fuel system)
The motor is from Daytona Mitsubishi. It is a FE Long block.

Misfire only happens at idle with no load and only when warm. Cold starts are fine. When AC turns on it goes away.

I have swapped plugs, and coil packs.

any help???

OEM FE Block
FIC 1650cc injectors.
Radium fuel rail with FPR and pulse dampener
MAP 3.5 to 6in intake
Wallabro 450 hardwired.
TPC GT Spec Turbo
STM Open dump.

 

It sounds like a fueling or idle airflow issue, man. Since the misfire goes away with AC on (higher idle), try tweaking the base idle and fuel trims. It could also be injector latency or a weak IACV. Have you checked logs for AFR fluctuations?
