Another exhaust question thread.

Hey guys. Newbie here with FE. After owning the car for few weeks, I think it's time for me to add the catback into it.
After I did some research, I really like the Duel Titanium Tips from Q300. But my questions for those who currently running one. How's the fitment on this catback? Is it full 3 inch? If so, is it possible to fit with the stock cat without any issues? I also heard that you have to remove or trim your heatshield in order to make it work for this catback, is it true? Lastly, where did u guys order this catback from?
Any other suggestions, please let me know

i had this exhaust on my x for awhile and i hated it. Its quiet and i was getting a lot more flow out of the right side as i did on the left. you have to remove the heat shield on the cat to get the bolts to fit. i switched to the UR single exit and love it. they also have a dual with titanium tipis that is quite popular.

I'm looking at the UR duel right now. Why didn't I know about this catback before. Thanks for letting me know man.

There's nothing inherently wrong with the Q300, lots of people run it without issue. I had it on my X for 2 years before getting a Tomei single exit.

If you're installing a catback for the first time, the required work is going to be the same for any system you pick.
