Question Radium Fuel Rail -- weird pulsing noise after install?

Car: 08 X GSR
Installed: Radium fuel rail, Radium fuel pulse dampener (FPD), FIC 1100 injectors, DW300 pump.

Details: Installed the DW300 pump first, ran for months, no problem, no odd noises.

Then, installed the Radium fuel rail and FIC injectors, and immediately could hear a constant weird pulsing noise from the hard fuel lines directly under the driver's seat; also a kind of odd whooshing noise right at the first press of the throttle. Thought maybe the FPD could help, so got and installed that, no significant change to the pulsing noise.

So my question is -- has anyone else experienced this noise with these particular parts?

Ah, should have mentioned, exact same thing happened to a friend's car as well -- 2010 X GSR. We're both wondering what the deal is.

I had the same thing happen to a Evo 10 about 6 years ago with a cosworth fuel rail and we never figured it out.

The volume of the fuel rail and dwell time of the injectors is creating a harmonic that you can hear. Put the stock rail back on and it will likely go away. You don't need a bigger rail to feed 1100cc injectors anyways.

Thanks for the info, good to know. I was hoping there might be an easy fix that would involve not switching back to the stock rail, but the noise is worth getting rid of, and there doesn't appear to be much benefit to the aftermarket fuel rail at this point.
