I have a 2009 ralliart with the Evo X turbo upgrade. This happened about 4 times already in two months and was wondering if anyone can shed light on the this.

My car would shut down but not turn off. In other wards the engine will go off and everything in the car like the radio and stuff like that would still be on. When I go to turn the car off when this happens everything stays on and I have to disconnect the batter for it to fully turn off.

Maybe once or twice some of the lights of the dashboard would go off but it's something that happens really quick. The car seems to drive normal and no engine light or code comes up.

Any ideas?

 

I'd start by looking at any relays associated with the starting system.

Hard to remember off top of my head which specific ones, but they're gonna be located in the box under the hood.
