Is this block savable?
08 Evo X, car bent a rod. Tore apart motor today to find this. Can this be saved? Does the piston come down that far?

It can be saved with sleeves because that will get machined away. And a built 4b11 should get sleeves anyways.

Funny thing, car is not built. As a matter of fact, all it has is intake, exhaust, tune...

Tuner is saying that the block is usable as is. Obviously will be boring to fit CP's, only going .20 over.
