I currently have a 2011 evo GSR literally the only thing done to this car so far is I have a synapse DV and the rest is stock well I was driving around and noticed the smell of gas, i did not have this issue when I had the stock valve. Any feedback/ help would be appreciated

 

Theres a difference from raw unburnt fuel smell and fuel smell that has been through a combustion process.

You should ensure no liquid gasoline leaks.

And identify if its exhaust smell. If it is it might just be coinsidence or your running rich.

 

The Evo X does this on hot summer days, especially when the car was just filled up. Your smelling fuel because the evap canister is purging excess pressure from the fuel tank.
