Okay, so I live in California (yay)

Currently running a catless injen exhaust (ballsy)
I've grown to not care about loud and annoying anymore, but also the attention it gets.

I'm trying to keep my car as lowkey as possible. I've been looking around but having difficulty finding a solution.

I'd like to run a stock exhaust with a electronic cutout at the downpipe. Does anyone have this setup and want to shed some light on where or how to get this done?

I understand tuning becomes a slight issue, I would not beat or drive the car hard one bit while it is closed.

Its a fully build 2.2 on a top mount 3586r. Last thing I need is to get my hood popped...

 

I ran a cutout in the exhaust, it was a cheap one and I would never do it again! Thing broke so many times..
Are you open to doing a boost activated cutout? You could do O2 housing that way or do a test pipe with cutout..

 

English racing sells a boost activated test pipe cut out.

 

RRE used to make them (a boost-activated cut-out for the downpipe) or at least are willing to consider making one. I did an initial email inquiry but they wanted to know if I could bring my car in. Since I'm in NJ that was a non-starter.

I never actually talked to them though this was an email exchange.
