Question GSC S2 and Valve Lash

Hey All,

I received my head back from the machine shop and am putting everything back together. I got my GSC S2 cams back in and measured the valve clearance/lash with my feeler gauge and some of them are a bit out of spec per the GSC cam card. Is it a huge deal that some of them are slightly out of spec? Below are the measurements of each valves lash, green is in spec while red is out, number in the first column is the spec range.
My main concern is intake CYL 2, with the 0.012" lash. I could try swapping around buckets to resolve that one, but am not sure if I need to get the others within spec or if I can safely run with it.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I have never adjusted or heard of anyone adjusting valve lash on an evo. I never did on my dsms or in my evo so Idk what to tell you. I have done quite a few cam degrees and stuff but other then that just drop them in and go. Hope someone has a better answer then what I gave but its just to let you know what I personally have done.

I would shim them back into spec. I think this link might be helpful: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...alc-chart.html

4b11 uses cam buckets. Checking the lash is part of the routine maintenance.

Thanks All, I went ahead and ordered different sized oem buckets to close the excess gap.
