New Clutch Grinding Noise when getting in motion

Hey guys I am in desperate need of help.
I am doing this clutch job by myself.
Exedy twin disc organic clutch, with new MAP clutch master cylinder.
After bolting up everything I turned it on, my wife noticed some smoke coming from the down pipe area, I figured this was just new clutch burn in. There's some chattering when the clutch is pressed down, but the noise you hear in the link is me slowly letting off the clutch and you can really hear the grinding. I am in the middle of taking everything apart to check if my clutch plates are in the right order, but anyone here have any idea of what can cause noises like this?

The chattering when the clutch is pressed down is normal for twin plate clutches. The noise that happens when you let off in gear is not. I think you are already on the right track with taking things apart to make sure everything is installed in order.

This is a long shot, but did you install the wheels on the car yet? I only ask because sometimes the brake rotors can make funny noises when they are just floating and turning without being pressed up against the wheel hubs by the wheels themselves. Still, that sounded bad enough to where I would take it apart again.

No I haven't put the wheels on yet, I'll do that this time around before starting it up. I haven't even thought of that.

Perhaps you didn't go wrong. Let's see what it does this time around with the wheels on. Was there any signs of rubbing or scraping on the clutch assembly?
