Most likely people said the same thing about the 4G63T when it first came out. It was also unproven, new, and different in the beginning. Change happens, just deal with it okay?

The first 4G63 sold in this country came under the hood of a Dodge vehicle, built and developed by Mitsu. IT was also shared by Hyundai for some of their vehicles.

I totally agree, this is my dream car also, I love that I earned it. I am 23 and have my dream car, and I'm not like one of those high school kids whose parents paid for it, not realizing the potential of this car. The X seems like some different kind of beast that looks like it's lost its "evolution" look, and seems more like some turbo charged muscle car. The one year edition of the IX means something special (to me) and I could not be happier with it, years of college and all nighters working hard to get me this great job finally paid off this past weekend when I picked up my IX. IMO, I'm in heaven

 

I'm gonna go buy a box of cookies and start handing them out to all of you my evo IX is better...blah blah blah... the X is gonna suck fanboys.

What I want is the MIEV EVO!!! Whatever happened to that idea. Talk about evolution, that is the ultimate evolution. True it may not be AS quick but almost. You can't beat not needing to fuel up, no emissions, AWD. I say I'd still buy the EVO X then hopefully will come out with a "Green" EVO!!! Our cars will really be like those XTuner cars from Radioshack when they come out hahahahah....stage 2 motor upgrades anybody???

 

The Tesla WhiteStar is coming out 2008 as a 2009 model. It will be all electric, AWD or RWD and have 4 doors. It will cost 45-55K and will do the 0-60 is less than 5 secs. Maybe that's a good option since we dont know if MIEV will ever come out.

 

Bloody hell. First an Evo IX can "whip a 2-door SS Camaro," and now the Evo X is a muscle car. This forum is great.

 

I think the x could look good. I think most of the hate is coming from a totally new design. I know when i first saw the new m3 i hated it but the more i saw it, the more i liked it. I think that goes the same for most things in life. PEOPLE ARE AFRAID OF CHANGE!!

If you bought the Evo IX because you really love it, fine. It's a great car. Just enjoy it.

If you bought the Evo IX because you were impatient and now you have buyer's remorse, don't take it out on the people ancipitating their purchase of the X. Rational comments about the looks (subjective), powertrain, potential, etc. are fine. But idiotic babbling about what's a "true" evo or not is just plain f**king dumb.
