The other guy obviously didn't read the articles, all he read was the 0-60 OMG! 1/4 mile OMG! fast and furious !!!
He said oh lowering the engine and having torque come in sooner isnt a performance upgrade.

shortening the overhangs isn't an upgrade, revising the dccd isn't a upgrade oh wells to each their own. i still see a better car

Sometimes these kids don't actually read what you type. They construct their own interpretation of what you said and then attack it.

Me: The new STI isn't any faster 0-60 or 1/4

Me: I didn't say the new STI is worse than the old one - I commented on the objective performance data.
Clueless newbs: You watch too many movies. 0-60 and 1/4 aren't everything.

That's with navigation, which was not an option in years past. Carr Subaru in Portland, Oregon quoted me $32.7K out the door for a base STI without the upgraded wheels and navigation option. That's only $700 more than what I paid for my '06 two years ago.
