IX vs X-5MT vs X-SST Results
Yeah...but seriously, what a let-down.
My Dream: "Sales of the Evo X are so sluggish that MMC is forced to rethink and revise what made the Evo VIII and IX so popular. To make the car more competitive they decide to increase output to 320 hp and equip the MR version with a close-ratio 6-speed transmission."
And all would be right with the world...

Despite this, the car will still sell well. To the general public it has improved looks, more comfy features, AWD, and is really sporty.
Look at Honda and Toyota...they are doing well not by focusing on a small group of car enthusiasts, but the to broad American public. This is a good financial move for Mitsu to go mainstream with its "sports car."

Here's the video coverage. Found this in another thread on here. It's hilarious if you love the IX. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akFMs90a8Rw
The evo x will NOT be a hit at that price point, reason 1. mitsu has no brand image 2. mitsu resale value sucks 3. service dept. sucks(evo) 4. there is no brand loyalty (ix owner's would buy an STI or keep their ix before trading up to an x) 5. At 35k-40k there are better cars from BMW,AUDI,INFINITI,SUBARU,ect that has better resale value, better image, and more loyal customers who will buy the car again.

Edit... nm he hit the rev limiter. Looks like it has no steam up top.
Yeah Bingo. Mitsu sure as **** isn't targeting the traditional Evo owners with this underpowered car so who do you think the target audience is? If its not the EVO faithful then who else?
