I still like the speed6(roomie and wasnt too bad on acceleration, wasnt too great either.. hehe), and have been tempted to go back and relook at it again. A chip would prolly help that out a lot too... I dont seem to remember a lot of easily accessible mods available for the speed6, but it's been a few months since I researched them....

I remember driving a Buick GNx when I was a teenager, and being in LOVE with the power(GNx did the quarter mile in 13.3 stock)... Although, memories are like ex-girlfriends, you forget about the bad, and only remember the good..... hehe

Love to hear other peoples recommendations for 4 door performance cars.. even used isnt out of the question at this point. Although I am a bit hesitant to buy someones beat banana performance car...

Also, the evo x is still in the running.... There isnt a lot of details out there, so the jury is still out... The stuff that is out there is pretty negative, but I am still reading and digesting all the info i can get....
Legacy GT then, maybe even in Wagon form if you're daring. If you're looking used, I'd say used CTS-V's are a great bargain at this point.

dude is shopping the Evo X, 335i and STi's. I seriously doubt the M3 fits in his price range. Besides, with an asking price of ~$60k, why would you get an M3 when you could have a V10...

well im very impressed with the TL type-s...if you guys havent driven one, i would recommend it. good power and awesome interior, for a good price...+1 on the Augi call...im a fan of the S4, and hell you can pick up a used 2001 or so for like 10-15k bucks...E36 M3 Sedan is a great car...im not a fan of the 4dr M3's but, hey opinions are like @$$holes...Anyone read up on any of the specs for the new pontaic G8??? especially if they drop a GXP package in it. Buddy of mine has a 2005 G6 Coupe GTP w/ the 6spd (only made it the one year) and damn is it a nice car. definately not an evo or m3, or s4 or anything but a damn nice interior, very comfortable, good power...so i dunno...im spent

What about a Hyundai Genesis Coupe? Not anything the same, but still a cool, 4B11T-powered car nonetheless, albeit in RWD form.

Absolutely... if the X's portly weight and 13 second 1/4 mile times appeal to you, DEFINITELY consider the RS4 as it will also not disappoint in both those areas!

Did I forget to mention the horrific understeer?

Hey! I had one of those! Lots of fun with the AYC and twin turbos, not so much with the **** poor INVECS transmission. I couldn't import it to the US when I moved back and the US never had a 8g Galant VR4. :<

I really like the lines of this car--and i have started to change my feelings about hyundai because of their quality improvements and warranties. I'd like to see how this car performs because begining at 19k for the 2.0L and 25k for the 3.8L 300hp 6 i would be more than interested. Lets see when it comes out.

There was some talk at one time about making the Genesis with a boosted 2.7 Delta (same engine in the 2003-up V6 Tiburon). If the 3.8 is anything like the 2.7, it will be a tough engine that responds well to F/I. Throw on a low to mid boost blower, and you'll have an under 30K car that will eat competitors of equal price for lunch.
