Dont count your chickens before they hatch.. If someone (like me) walks in with money on the table, your car will be unexpectedly delayed.. I say this from example.. Thats exactly what I did at a local (Miami) dealership when the VIII came out. The first day it was there I walked in. They said that they all had deposits on them. I said, here's the money for the car.. They said, which color do you want.. I was the first one to purchase the EVO from the dealer.. But at the same time, I also heard that the MR is being delayed due to additional transmission tuning. This is also coming from Mits reps that I know on a personal level.. But, good luck anyways..

nah ima give them a call today or tomorrow. i dont wanna be breathing down manager's neck just yet. if he thinks im desprate he'll have more to play "salesman" with. for sure i'll give you guys an update before saturday.

I called my dealer and manager told me that he spoke to our district manager and he said that FOR sure they WILL get MR by the end of January. Considering most people stretch the truth to sell you something, I would say from late Jan to mid Feb the MRs will arrive to MY dealer at least. Should be the same for most dealers.

I got a call from dealer this afternoon saying that they should get my specific Evo within first 3 weeks of Feb. They ordered it exactly how I wanted it and now it's just the waiting game. So far the price is still 38k for a semi loaded MR WITHOUT the navigation and harddrive package and 6 disk CD changer. Still, this might be subject to change but, just keeping you guys informed of my progress in case it can help you.

Okay, I been looking around in forums and recently we've been bombarded with EVO release dates and one dealer already got one (GSR). According to all I've read, GSR should be arriving any time now to most dealers and MRs between last weeks of Jan and first of Feb. So yea, NOW is the time to go to your dealers to get all the details and if you wish, leave your deposit to make sure you get your EVO X. Good luck, homies.
