X brembo info?

Hi Guys,

I need some info on the brembo's that are fitted to the X, are they bigger than the IX brembo's?

Ie will wheels of an IX fit on the X?

I'm thinking trackdays + semi slicks here! If they don't fit then I will need to sell my current track wheels and buy new ones!

Cheers
D.

I read somewhere, and I am pretty sure, that the brembo are indeed from the IX, so yes, the IX brembo will fit on the X.

huh, aren't the X's rotors larger by half an inch? 17's may not fit then.

I remember reading somewhere that only the rotors are bigger on the X (350mm vs. 320mm) and that the calipers are the same. Therefore it said that the only modification needed to make the X rotors fit in the IX is fabricating new caliper brackets.

I believe the front callipers are slightly bigger in the X, this info comes from a friend with a IX who measured and compared.

It was in a mag that the only thing was bigger was the rotor itself so fitting it on a IX was just a bracket away. That is what the mgs said

I don't see the Viii or iX wheels fitting on the X since the rotors are about 1-1.2 inches bigger in diameter. I would love it though since i have winter and summer wheels and tires.

The rotors are 350mm in size and the calipers are 1cm bigger than a standard 9

The 2pc and the single piece are same diameter ..
The rear rotors are also bigger

So to answer .. you need to change the rims to fit
