MR release date being pushed to April?

Not sure if anyone else has heard this from their dealer, but I had to call my dealer for something today and asked them about the X and when it would arrive. He said the GSR "should be here any day now"...whatever that means. He also said the MR was being pushed back from February to April because they still needed to work out some of the electrical gremlins with the SST. Not sure how legit this is, so wanted to see what others are hearing.

I guess one of the good things about the delay is that maybe will have all the problems worked out before it arrives, rather than shipping it early and having the SST fail on someone while driving down the street. Maybe the engineers are just trying their best to make it perfect? Who knows

If I were considering and SST (which I'm not) I would start to feel a little weary over this transmission. VW/Audi did not have this many issues when they launched DSG.

They should release a 6sp MR for the time being , then dealers can start marking up the 'MR' instead of Base

Since I just heard from the dealer, I wanted to hear what others were hearing as well.

Well here in Cali they said there is no delay and I"m getting mine Feb 27th.

But he also asked me if I was interested in the 6-Speed MR, I said, "you mean the SST"? He said no, there's a manual version coming out......so...yea.

True, but VAG wasn't trying to push 300hp through their tranny either.
