No point in buying at MSRP. Mitsu dealers can try that crap, but it never works. I bought the VIII 3 weeks after it hit the stats for $130 over invoice. I don't think this will be any different.

The price is very competitive, I just wish the options weren't so costly. $2k for some air dams? $4k for a premium stereo w/navi and HIDs? This reminds me of BMW pricing.

MSRP might be an issue at first, but in a few months you will be able to get them for MSRP. Plus, it doesn't hurt to have a reputation with the dealer where you got your VIII or IX.
I agree waiting a few months may get the price closer to MSRP. You have to think about the folks waiting on the MR though. If it keeps getting delayed or the price is not as advertised when it comes out there will be that many more Non MR buyers out there buying up the GSRs.

Eventually there will be big price cuts just like on the VIII and IX by the dealers above.

So $35,615 with the stereo and HIDs.

Will a sunroof be available?

So the base car comes without the large spoiler? Amazing. Please, no reference to the VIII/IX RSs not having a wing. Mitsubishi did their homework and found out that most Americans are put off by wings.

Not with that aluminum roof. Americans do love their sunroofs, though. I wouldn't doubt Mitsu replacing the aluminum roof for a steel one to accommodate a sunroof. Bad for performance.

I will through out my guess and 2 cents as well. if MSRP is 32,995 i am gonna guess invoice is at least 29,959. i work in the finance world and typical mark up is 10% of invoice. and i am going to guess dealers will be slaying new buyers for atlease 34,995. good luck to all that buy but i will be waiting atleast 1 year to even look at the X and if i were to buy a X (doubtful) I feel sorry for the salesman who tries to sell me it. because i am in financing and I know all the tricks.

There are a few dealers already advertising the sale of the X below MSRP on this site.

There is a $625 destination fee that is not included in that MSRP. So, what was $32,990 is now $33,615 instead.
