ive had one ticket within the past 4 years for unsafe operation, but otherwise clean. it was for an 06 low mileage evo though, and im only 24. maybe thats why?

all the insurance companies found out the X is not a real sports car so they lowered their rates.

higher trust.. i had an 04 civic si paying like 250 month n was considerin the new ones when they came out they wanted 400 a month.. forget that.. im guesing prolly around 100+ per month..

 

Better not buy an evo anytime soon then.

 

"Turbo" listed in the vehicle specs = higher than usual insurance rate

 

I pay 280 per month, I'm 18 have an OZ Rally, and I have had NO tickets on record

 

when it was under my old insurance it was $125. now it's over $400/mo. needless to say, i don't pay that ridiculous amount anymore. I've never been in an accident but i have lots of speeding tickets which count for the same thing, which is the most stupid thing in the world. wrap it around a tree or get caught in a speed trap or 5...same rate...highway robbery...
EDIT: it sucks i lived in germany for 2 years traveling regularly on the freeway without incident around 140 mph. i also passed a driving test with high marks at one of many hpde sessions i've attended. the instructor/grader said i'd make an excellent race driver. I've put over a half million accident-free miles on the road...

 

I have insurance on my home, my 2006 f150 4x4, and a 2003 Evo; all together it is 170 dollars a month. I'm 29 no tickets and no wrecks.

 

yea its gay as hell just cuz of the word turbo. i hate it.

its less to insure me on a corvette z06...

 

For an '05 Evo VIII, with 4 speeding tickets in 1 year my insurance with Progressive in California is $350 a month Full Coverage.

 

at age 21 mines 1.5k every six months for 3 cars, 98 3kgt,06 corolla(have my fiance(age 20) on this car), 00 honda civic ex. =) the evo 9 raises my premium by 135 dollars a month(ouch) if i trade in the 00 honda!
