EVO X and Ralliart comparison
Could someone post all the similarities and differences between the 09 EVO X and 09 Ralliart? It would be much appreciated.
X also has a nicer interior and full S-AWD (ACD, AYC, A-ABS and ASC).
RA doesn't have that, and saves a load of cash. It has the ACD, but not AYC, A-ABS and ASC.
It should be noted, though, that the EVO's S-AWD complements the SST transmission, so losing that in the RA means you lose a lot of the benefits that COULD come along with said transmission. While theres a lot of potential in power, handling won't even be close.

09 RA has less power , less weight and has same wheels/spoiler has the gts

from the gallery of Ralliart pics that I'm sure we've all seen time and time again, take a look at the yellow logo near the tach, as well as the button next to the steerting wheel...

We're getting deep into the realm of over assumption now. Pre-release pictures of buttons really shouldn't mean that the production car will have the features they seem to represent. Being the automobilemag pics were published on Jan 08 (presumably taken even before that) and the car wasn't announced til the 13th, I wouldn't take them as a gospel sign of what to expect when they hit the dealerships. If Mitsu could have added another buzz word to all their press releases and made the RA look closer to the EVO, I'm sure they would have.
According to the Mitsu press release, the Recaros are an additional option in the RA, but standard in the EVO. Thats what I meant by nicer interior.
Even though there might be an ASC button on the dash in an unofficial picture, that doesn't mean that, even if the RA does have ASC, that its the same subsystem used by the EVO. Giving 2 features the same name doesn't make them the same. The EVO ASC uses sensors on all 4 wheels from the S-ABS system, feedback from the ACD and the rear dif in the AYC system to throttle power accordingly. The RA simply does not have all those sensors to feed off of. If the production model does have anything similar, it'll be more limited in terms of inputs (sensors) that the EVO, and this will affect the results.

I'll concede the difference in the number of sensors -- that much seems reasonable. BUT...where did I ever say it was the exact same setup the X runs? You said the car DOESN'T have ASC, I'm simply showing you that there is a very good chance it will.
And yes, the Recaros are optional. I, for one, probably wouldn't buy a Ralliart without them, and honestly, I do forget sometimes that they're not standard. I think most people will opt for them though, depending on pricing.

Ah, my bad. I saw those pics linked several times, but only through automibilemag, who stamped them as Jan 08 and threw their logo on the photos
So to keep it simple using what we know and stick to the point thats trying to be relayed in this thread:
The Evo X will come with full S-AWD (ACD, AYC, A-ABS and ASC), and the RA will not. The RA will have some aspects (ACD for sure, portions of ASC possibly).
The Evo X will come with Recaros in the interior, and the RA will not, although its an optional upgrade if you want to spend the additional cash.
