Ugly but might not be exactly the same...

If I remember, those were cars seen in Toronto a fews weeks ago...might have change...
anyway this law has to change and transport Canada knows it...
for the front...from another thread...those are actually real evo to be sold in Canada and the front bumper looks pretty much the same to me as the US
too bad we don't have a view from the rear...we'll have pics pretty soon I guess to confirm this ugly piece of s*** or not

Well that's the end of the big mystery as to why the Evo (and probably many other makes/models) cost so much in Canadialand. I can only imagine the cost of Canada-specific engineering, which includes custom design, tooling, testing, etc. It's not that big of a deal if you have a fairly large market (USA) but if you have a very small market (Canada) you have less units to spread the cost over, so it ends up jacking up the price per unit significantly.
