NICE find...good to see EVO in here...
I was talking with the wife of the first seller in "Quebec Mitsubishi" this week since she's working with me and she told me they're supposed to have one by the end of January and only ONE...they even don't know when the next will follow

Dealerships that have orders for EVOs will generally get one each out of the first shipment. Lets say there are 80 delaers in Canada. And lets say there are 150 cars on the first boat. So they'll spread the shipment around by giving the dealers one or two each as opposed to filling the orders as they were filed w Mitsu.
If dealer 'a' takes four orders before dealer 'b' sells one, it doesn't mean that dealer 'a' gets all theirs first. It still means that they'll get their first and possibly second or whatever out of that first shipment so that no one dealership gets left completely out in the cold as far as having representation of the EVO having been sold out of their showroom.
Mitsu doesn't want dealer 'b' to suffer just because dealer a might have been able to take more orders sooner. And they want the EVO to be present in all markets relatively evenly. Not just in dealer 'a's area because dealer a happens to be located in an area where there is a higher number of EVO buyers per capita.
In a nutshell, Mitsu is building one EVO per dealer worldwide per month. Canada was allocated 500 EVOs for the first year, but with increasing demand, they were able to allocate a further 200 vehicles to Canada for 08.

I heard it was only about 250 Evo X's for Canada in 2008
So 700 is quite a substantially large number!
With ~75 dealerships in Canada ,that works out to 10 Evo X's per dealership for the entire year. Not bad.
