evo or STI

Well I just got done looking and deciding over both cars. The evo DID NOTHING FOR ME IN PERSON. The trunk was small I dont think jimmy hoffa could fit in it. Plust the gsr was loaded with options to the tune of 40K OUCH. Maby in black it would be better and with coilovers. I diddnt think that I wouldnt like it that much. The STI looks like butch on steroids looking for a fight in the 5 door hatchback gay bar, but I like it better than the evo.

I would pick the evo... but go with what you really want. If you want the STI then you should get that and not let opinions of everyone else change your mind.

With all the cars you say you have why would you be worried about trunk space?

Hahha I was talking with my buddy the other day, and we had placed bets on how long it would take before someone would post the ultimate Evo vs STI thread. He said it would be a week or so, I told him not a chance its going to happen in the next 3 days. I was right...beers on him!

Dude, How many people on here have driven either one. 2 I think. Wait for some solid reviews. But wait...that still didnt stop these types of threads in the 03-06 general evo section. Hell people were still asking that question 3 months ago.

Oh and if the new STI does it for you as far as looks, man....I must be seeing something else, because I think that car looks horrid. But other people have different tastes, and likes and dislikes....oh well.

I dont' understand why Subaru and Mitsubishi is going luxary sort of M3 like. If I wanted a M3 i'd get a M3 and if money was the issue i'd go 135I

Get what suites your needs!
We have a 2008 STi, and its a great car. Much better then the last STI's in my opinion. Handles better then the old EVO, but yet has the great TQ that Subaru is known for. However its not for everyone. Not everyone likes the hatch design, but many people do.

The new STI vs EVO X is not the same as the old STI vs EVO IX. The 2007 cars where both sedans, had big spoilers and had the boy racer image.
The new cars are different comparison. The new STi is more grown up, and is under the radar to most people. Where as the Evo X still stuck to the older boy racer image.

So the choice is yours. Choose the car that suites your needs and your wants.
