I plan on doing a stroker motor and 50 trim when i get some more miles on my car and the stocker is ready to take a crap on me. But for now are there any go fast parts i can buy to use with the stock turbo that i could use with my stroker and 50 trim set up as well. Right now i currently just have a tbe, mbc and a air filter, with a dyno tune. I am thinking about cams but would i use the same size cams for the stock turbo as i would for the 50 trim. And also injectors? Or could i even benefit from the injectors on the stock turbo? Thanks guys.

According to the OP, he is in fact referring to the evo X so this is in the correct place.


As for the question, my advice would be to wait a while and see what options become available and the results. For example, it may turn out that some of the things you mentioned are less than ideal for this particular engine. There is also a lack of available direct fit parts for the car as of yet and little to no tuning options.

You mention you have a few parts, but more importantly a dyno tune. How is your car dyno tuned? I am not aware of any tuning software or parts available for the X yet both in the US and abroad. Also, the only exhaust and intake options available would be overseas and hard to get so fast.

 

Hey guys I need a little help...I want to get some cams for my evo and some friends have told me to go with different brands and I need some suggestions...I have a stock turbo with manifold, turbo back exhaust, ic pipes and intercooler....now some friends are telling me go with hks, and others with GSC and others with buddy club.....and then some are telling me go with 272/272 and others 280/280....any suggestions???
