IMO the new STi wouldn't look half as bad if:

- It was 3 door instead of 5door hatch
- Got rid of that chrome plate inside the front grille, it makes it look like a Saturn

Also JDM version has 2.0T that revs to 8k and has twinscroll turbo whereas USDM is 2.5T revs to 7k and has single scroll.

If its like Cosworth longblock with aftermarket turbo kit, then of course the 2.5T would be superior (2.0 is restricted engine to be able to enter certain races) but bone stock I'd take the 2.0 anyday.

I think the new STI 2.5 redlines at 6700 rpm. The curve looks crazy, but still, the redline is pretty low.

It looked like the STi was way looser in the goose then it used to be. The Evo X is looking crazy cool going around the corners now though.

C&D rated the new EVO. beat out the R32 and the STI which looks like an old Civic. I like the old style much more.

I assume you are saying this because the person you quoted didn't mention things like wind resistance and object density which essentially determine the terminal velocity of an object (ie, a brick will fall faster than a piece of paper in OUR atmosphere). So, in that sense, he is in error.......realistically though two objects that are sufficiently dense and don't have major differences in their wind resistance properties will fall at the same speed. Maybe then we should give the benefit of the doubt and assume he actually understands the concept and simply misspoke.....rather than jumping to insults.......or you could simply read further to realize that he did in fact make a post that demonstrated his understanding of wind resistance. Granted, there's a lot of nonsense being tossed around in this thread......but some of it appears to be in jest to me.

Now, I'm assuming that you are referring to the person you quoted when mentioning ignorance..........but, if you are in fact referring to the uninformed indivdual(s) that PDXevo was trying to enlighten (and therefore agreeing w/ PDX).......then you can for the most part ignore this post of mine.

yep that is true. the car doesnt have a AYC is a rally car ,the car it does have a ayc is a road track car. And the race s on road track.
and they are sooo far away from each other, for set up.Not even funny... just check out the camber on the tarmac car ..
no to mention the tire difference, coilovers , etc.
