Auto Shows: Where to see the Evo X?
Auto Shows: Where to see the Evo X?
Yeah, before anyway pulls a smartass card, I know the ideal answer would've been the NAIAS or Tokyo Auto Show a while ago.
I'm in between Philly and Baltimore (closer to Philly, actually) and I'm trying to get some non-BS info on what concepts and pre-production cars each show actually has there. Each show's websites are not helpful. I'd like to be able to sit in an Evo X and possibly (at least) see a Concept X in person, for comparision's sake. I'm not expecting a good answer here, given the disappointment of Philly's not-much-more-than-one-big-indoor-dealship, but if one has more of what I want than the other, I'd liek to know.
I'm looking for really info here, not speculations. thanks

how about this, do some research in this manner:
1. open browser and go to google.com
2. type in "car shows in philadelphia"
3. view results
4. pick link#2
5. here is the link http://philadelphia.about.com/od/cal..._auto_show.htm
6. better hurry up, it ends 2/10

How about this, YOU do some research in this manner:
1. Actually read my message before you smugly reply with what you think is the internet forum equivalent of telling someone to learn how to read.
2. Notice helpful, telltale signs that what you are saying is irrelavant, such as "Each show's websites are not helpful."
3. Think about the fact that the link you posted does little more than give the most basic show info for only ONE of the TWO shows I mentioned, and then provides a link to ONE of the TWO show websites I previously mentioned were not helpful in answering my fairly specific question.
4. Think [again! an amazing feat to perform twice in such a short period of time] that someone living 20 minutes away from Philadelphia would know when the local auto show runs until, especially having been there several times before.
5. Realise (utilizing steps 1-4) that you really have nothing to say, although if you were capable of that, you probably wouldn't have the almost 500 posts that you've accumulated, probably more like 50.

Thanks man. This is what I was talking about. Any chance the Concept X was there? Or even the Prototype X?
Now, on the flip side of the coin, anyone go to the Motor Trend auto show in Baltimore? Or any of the recent Motor Trend shows? Same question goes for these shows.
Just to clarify, I am going with some friends to either Philly or Baltimore, and we're holding the decision a bit until we figure out which show has the most of what we want to see. I've been to Philly multiple times, and have been slightly disappointed, mostly because of the lack of concepts. They have been to Baltimore before and apparently saw even less concepts. Now, the local event guide said 400 concepts at Motor Trend Baltimore, and I wonder if that's a mistake. So there you have it, I'm not a moron, I know how to get myself to an auto show and how to do an internet search. I just want to know what Evo related cars and concepts are where.
