I didn't like the color of the DRL's very much, so I swapped them out for some blue 'fake-hid' bulbs. They actually look pretty dang good.
The bulb sizes are '1156' for the DRL's and they're really easy to swap in and out. (The bulbs are only about 10 dollars for a pair, too)

i never understood the point of drl...they are annoying to me...actually can make it harder to see an oncoming car cuz of the brightness if they are aimed wrong...i mean it just doesn't make sense...cant u see the car fine without them?...as far as foggy or rainy weather...just turn ur lights on...common sense...glad my ix doesn't have drl

I know there is a DRL bypass for the normal Lancers and it should work with the EVOs (Non SSS-Halogen lights). I soldered up my own bypass but this one is basically the same thing: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_2207wt_1161
You can use it with HIDs so they function normally or you can keep your standard lights and it should just get rid of the DRL.
