Need help getting into my "Smart" car...

A little about my car: GSR with keyless entry, HID's, 650w. Anyways, My girlfriend started the car this morning and walked away with the keys inside the car on the midconsole. Now the car is locked, and On. How do I get in? I just bougt the car yesterday and the dealership only gave me one set of keys. I was to go in later today to get my second pair of keys and my front license plate put on (damn Oregon).

Anyways, How do I get into my effing car?

Should be able to put your hand on the door handle and open it.
Your key by your car, the door should unlock shouldnt it.

That's what I thought... Tried it numerous times. The car dings at me whenever I push the button to unlock the doors, and the trunk sensor is inactive.

No dont push the small black button, Just pull the lever 1/2 way out.
the door handle has 2 stage

And and dont forget you get free roadside service. just call them, I would just call the dealership and have them
bring you the key they still owe you.

just put your fingers behind the handle and wait for it to beep. pushing the black button locks it. it should unlock, i leave my keys in the center cup holder all the time.

i just had a mental image of him posting on a forum while the car was on, locked and beeping at him :-). I think I may skip the keyeless entry option after this, I'm just dumb enough to do something like that

I think the problem was his Car was running, and some how the door is locked,
Once the car starts i dont think the Key remote works anymore.

sometimes on the priuses w/smart keys, the transponder is not properly detected when leaving it on the dash board and the NO KEY light is displayed. If this is the case then pushing the button will not unlock the doors. I say call the dealer and tell them to bring the extra key
