Monthly Payments
The best advice was on the first page. He should keep the car he has until he has paid enough to eliminate his "upside down" status.
This thread was clearly made so he could gain comfort seeing that other people are paying $600 - $700 a month for their Evo X despite how silly his situation might be.

I got hosed when I baught my POS lancer ES cause it was my first car and I had no credit at the time...LOL The POS lancer was an X-rental car so it was driven hard and the suspension and tranny were shot so I rolled $4500 of NE into the BMW which is still hurting me now but atleast I have a good car to drive while I pay my debt...
Everyone's real world payment wont help you much man.
I mean people don't have the same credit, or have the same income,
some pay in 1 year, and some pay in 7 years, Its all about what you can afford to pay.
I can tell you mine but,I dont know how it will help you much if any.
Right now Im paying $1250 per month / 24 month. If that help you any

where do you find the invoice of these cars or any for that matter. I saw 4 evo x with msrp 32490
I will have to agree with all those who posted before, that my payments will not really help you, but here they are anyway:
Paid MSRP on a GSR with SSS: $34,990
Trade in: $3500
Downpayment: $24,000
financed the rest: 5%
credit score: >720
Payments: $204/month for 60 months.
I dont know what that does, but hope it helps!

So you're paying $12,240 after 5 years on a $7,490 loan? That don't sound right with a 720 credit score. You should have gotten a loan somewhere else to pay the car off. I got a $17,000 loan for a S2000 and ended up only paying then $17,800. I have about the same credit score as you.
youre right about his being a little funny though. On my financial calc a 5yr 5% loan of $7,490 should only be $141.35 a month not $204
