Aftermarket Gauge locations
Hey guys,
I am close to pulling the trigger on some speed parts, however, I want to be able to monitor boost before I do anything.
Where are folks mounting their boost gauges? I don't think the traditional a-pillar pod will work with the side curtain airbag. I am not quite fond of the one post I saw that relocated the HVAC controls down the Boost Gauge in the original HVAC location.
Has anyone made a custom Nav trim plate that would incorporate gauges?

If you select 2008 Lancer in here, there is a dash kit available for an aftermarket stereo. It's a double din space. So 1 slot for head unit & 1 pocket slot were you can insert gauges, something like in the above picture, depending how you place things. You have to buy kit locally (metra only sells to dealers), but it's only $30.

Thats great for the non-nav guys...but what about us Nav guys? I am hoping someone will make a pod that is part of the trim of the NAV unit.

Might want to put an angle on the gauges, unlike this one.
