Brake dust!
Brake dust!
Anybody else tired of the heavy brake dust that builds up on the OEM wheels after only a few days of normal driving?
I've already tried waxing the wheels with Meguiar's TechWax but that didn't help very much. Other suggestions beyond swapping out the pads?

I guess that I'm saying that I would not switch over to some ceramic economy car low dust pads. That would take away from the performance of the Brembos. And I guess if you don't need those brakes and tires... why have a car that performes as raw as the Evo does?
I'm not meaning this to be directed to you... it's just a case in point. It's sort of rhetorical.
Any type of performance car will experience this. At least in my expeience of owning primarily German cars, it's just a way of life. It's funny because there are always people complaining about the brake dust on every forum for any make of car. Some people need to just understand it comes with the territory and just need to deal with it. If not, get a Corolla

Brembos are dust monsters. As mentioned the only real option is changing pads.

The wax on the wheels will make the dust easier to wash off, but won't prevent it from sticking.
