EVO X HID looks like regular headlight!

I paid $2000 extra for the SSS,cause i need the HID and spoiler (don't care about the sound system) but the HID in EVO X don;t look like HID at all ,when i just turn it on it is white but after few second it is not white enough , is my HID got problem or it is all like that ?

When I saw some of the Evo Xs at night with the HIDs they looked normal to me. When you say white, I'm not sure what to make of that. I have cars with xenon/bi-xenons and none of them look white per se. They are more clear and bright than anything else. Older and crappy quality HID (see: aftermarket mods on cheap Jap. cars) may tend to look bluish or white.

I'm sure others here who own an X can chime in though.

Upgrade the bulbs. I do slightly agree though. The cutoff on the Xenon headlights don't seem as crisp as the other xenon equipted cars I've driven in my day. Is this just me? Anyone else agree?

I think they are fine. They seem to illuminate more of the road than my IS350's HIDs did.

My X HIDs are brighter than my old 8 and my buddies 9 MR. We had them side by side.

LMFAO...

dude, the HID's look like the facotry hid's I had on my 03 WW EVO 8.
Maybe your expecting some 8000k blue ricer HIDS which produce less visable light? "but look cooler" ?

If you are comparing to the original HID's in the VIII / IX, you will notice that the lights shine farther down the street then before. The reality is they are just as bright, but they are looking farther ahead. You may want to set your HID's to 1, and it will look more like the lights did on the VIII / IX.

5000k FTW.

Not ricer blue, not too far from OEM.

My HIDs are blazing and adjust way higher than my old VIII HIDs. I love them!
