The JUN x makes 480, I think it has stock internals. I know there making a 2.4 stroke kit too. Import tuner is featuring the hyper lemon x in the next issue.

Japanese cars are 50% more expensive in UK vs. US due to higher import tax in UK. Plus US Dollars are very cheap.

"Maybe what the FQ-360 really needs is some of the brutal magic of the old Evo IX."

"If you start targeting 380-390 hp, you need to introduce new con rods and pistons, which adds dramatically to the cost."

Are you serious? If you added con rods and pistons you could still do it for less than the HUGE amount of money they are changing for such small increases in performance.

Let's be honest, the FQ is about a cash cow for , and nothing more. How much is a motor from the factory - less than 16,000 dollars I would presume.

One more point i want to add...

1. Remapping of the ECU = $0.00
2. Vortex generators = $500.00
3. Intake $7,500.00
4. Cat-back exhaust $7,000.00

You must be joking.....

Just for the record the pictures of the blue 360 are not a standard 360. 95% of the carbon goodies are extras to show what they will be making and those wheels are also an option coming in at around $6000! but no doubt to you guys they will cost about a dollar 99

The only benfit I see is modded with a warranty. Other then that, the price is rediculous.

So, they won't increase power to the SST-equipped car. What do you get with the FQ-300 then? Carbon fiber body parts?

I wonder if they are talking 360hp max at flywheel or wheels. AMS already has 388hp out of it. Its cool but all X owners here in the states can do that if not more for less than $5000.

The FQ300 comes in SST or manual and you get just about the same as you do over in the US. We get a GS or GSR the GSR coming with Sat nav, bluetooth etc. Only the 360 gets any carbon bits in the shape of a lip spoiler, vortex gen, hand brake and gear knob. It also gets leather/suede seats to try and show its worth the extra and of course is covered by the warranty. It also has a sweet little HKS superdragger exhaust

Neither!

Its 354bhp at the fly and 363lb ft torque if memory serves me right.

As said above we also get a couple of bits of carbon fibre and leather seats to try and justify the price hike

I would NOT pay 75K for this. I would by me a NEW X and put money into it and get way way over this power down the road. 75K is for a NEW M3 or GTR.

P.S. I call BS on the whole rods and pistons thing... Unless they had the motor fall apart on them when they tried to make a couple FQ400's...
