Is that tray metal or plastic, it looks metal in the pics??

My new tundra dosen't have skidplates, but still has a large metal tray similar to the evo X. Consequently, it takes twice as long to change the oil as it otherwise would. The tundra's tray does not have an access panel for the filter or drain plug, I'm glad to see that the evo x does.

BTW, is there enough clearance to get a standard hydraulic jack under the X?

No I did not get it at Jeff Sh*t. My wife bought a car there and they bent us over and didn't even have the courtesy to give us a reach around!!

I went to Medina Mitsubishi and they are GREAT!! If you are thinking off getting a car from Jeff Sh*t, I would rethink it. The sales people straight out lied to us, the service guy's lied, and we are still dealing with the Attorney General and Better Business Bureau to resolve the issue. Walker, in Maimisburg seems to be pretty good, in the Dayton area. To bad, to, because I live about 2 miles from Jeff Sh*t and have to drive 50 miles to get any service done on the car And, my wife and I bother ended up buying brand new cars - to bad for them!!

just to be on-topic that sopt where you can take off the bolts on the passenger side does give you access to the oil filter and plug. I just changed my oil not even two hours ago.

Nah...Walker Mitsubishi sucks too then...wasn't TOO impressed with them...gave me the freaking Demo model though I did get a 5000 dollar reduction from MSRP...still think they screwed me because it was at the end of 06 and it had 217 miles on it AND had swirlmarks on thepaint...they did the ole switch-eh-roo...I should have looked harder at it...expected the floor model and got the demo instead...shrugs partly my fault.

Think I'll be going to Medina for the next iteration of the Evo...maybe Kings in Cincinnati
