Anyone know how to remove the EVO-X backseat.
Im trying to do an amp install, but cant find anything on how
to remove the back seats. I cant seem to find where the bolt are that is holding it down.

He is at Buttonwillow this weekend ,Im sure he will be to busy to read this forum today. He live like 15 min away from me,but he is not home right now.
Im sure if I meet up with him he can show me real easy.

Im wondering if its just like the EVo_8 by lifting up the seat. I tried it using some force, but it wont pop out. If someone can tell me for sure it works the same way,
I will use more force. right now I just dont want to break anything because
there is a long wait on parts.

 

Just get your fingers under the front of the rear seat near the clips and pull up real hard. They just pop out, no releases.

 

ya, pull at the front of the rear seat and it will just unclip, then take the lower out.

There are bolts then holding the seat back on. Take those out and the whole back seat seat back will come out. You'll have to lift it up to get it off the hangers on the top -- and watch out for the seatbelts when putting it back in.

 

Do this. Then the seat back unbolts with a 14mm socket and wratchet. I will be attending the lancer meet this weekend in va without my back seat
