My Dad use to own a 1973 Olds Tornodo front drive 455 Rocket, I swear that thing could go up against an H3 in a DD match and come up the winner!

What's the most interesting thing to me about the whole article is that this is yet another magazine to say that that fast laps are done with the car is SS mode and FULL AUTO. That's really interesting and I wonder what the driver involvement and the man / machine interface would feel like. I guess I'll have just as much fun since my focus will be on setting up and executing the turn but still... I guess one could always play with the paddles.

"For fast lapping, we've learned to leave the MR in Super-Sport mode and ignore the paddles-so spot on is the TC-SST's automatic shift logic. "

I was so set on getting a FE/RWD car but after the understanding how much it rains here in WA (just moved here 6 weeks ago), I pulled my deposit on the M3 and am definitely leaning toward the Evo X. I may find myself in one next week if the price is right!

in my personal opinion, I'm not too big of a fan of the MR. I enjoy shifting and pedal work and can't imagine myself driving an EVO that's an... dare I say... automatic...

The good thing about the MR is, it's the best of both worlds. When you want to race, you can, and when you just want to chill and go cruising, you can leave it in "D" and enjoy yourself. Maybe once I'm in my 30s or 40s, a car like that will be what I need. But for now, my youth is too much for an... automatic...
