Yeah.. right. You just happened to watch Evolution X's sprint from standstill to 60 with a stopwatch? And an exhaust adding 25hp to a TURBO car is nothing new.
You probably had no idea driving a NA car though..

For a grand the extra 100 hp is well worth it. Especially when its achieved with just a tune and an exhaust.

The proceed isn't the xede and its is compatiable with a wide variety of applications, plus its available now.

Who knows when ECUFLash will be out for the Evo and how much time it will take for all the features to be unlocked.

Procede seems to be excellent as long as you have someone familiar with it behind it..which in this case , you do.

You are a douche.
It's not the exhaust adding 25hp. It's the capability it frees up in tuning to get that power. Yeah keep your grand, maybe you can buy some Stock evo X wheels off someone? Oh wait, probably too wide for your GTS.

Or maybe they were just impressed with the improvements?

Shiv has obviously done a great job

I can't wait to see what he does with the Skyline!!!

Wait?!?! Did they say it hits the 1/4 of a mile in 12.7 seconds? with just the Procede and cat-back exhaust? Compared to their 13.6 run that would be a .9 second improvement from a chip? Dang batman! forget the tune, where can I get one!? Looks like I might be running on a piggy back after all.

to the guy who thinks 25hp is a high estimate for exhaust on a turbo car. i picked up 23whp over stock with 3" turbo back w/3"cat on my 03 prior to any tune.
dyno graphs are here on evom somewhere.

I think it was turbotrix that claimed that there was almost no gains on the dp alone so the gains must come from upgrade HFC and cat back.

No one mentioned anything about 0-60 times.
I think more people are impressed with the FULL second gained in the 1/4 mile. (over a second in some cases, since Motor Trend, Car and Driver, Road and track all varied from 13.6-14.0 flat for stock evoX 1/4 mile times)

They were having launch issues, that's why the 0-60 wasn't better. Once they get the launch limiter removed I wouldn't be surprised to see this car running 3.8-4.0 0-60 with a 12.0-12.3 1/4 mile

A very good article, and people also have to realize that Edmunds isn't the best at drag racing. Seriously if Motor Trend, Car and Driver, Road and Track, and Edmunds all get a hold of a new car, let's say the 2008 Pontiac G8 GT and do tests, you could pretty much rest assure that Edmunds would get the slowest of times and Motor Trend or Car and Driver would get the quickest times.

Also it is very good that another such as edmunds can vouch for Shiv's claims of increased power. I know 12.7@109mph doesn't sound like much, but people this car pretty much has Procede and Exhaust for mods and I believe this is on straight 91 octane. Seriously any owner trapping 109mph with those two mods on 91 octane would be happy and the fact that the X is slower from the start and still can achieve these times is truly respectable.
