I think I paid about 32,700 otd for black with sss in ca. I had to use some creative tax savings tactics. To sweeten the deal they paid me 22 for my 05 MR with 53k mi and in need of a few things(tires brakes possible leaking tranny etc)...not bad for a trade in. So I just had to pay the difference of about 10700...not too shabby imo.

I also have 2 $500 rebates heading my way

Who ever is thinking of $900 a month for a Mitsubishi in a recession is nuts, what a waste of money, if you have to pay $900 a month, you cannot afford the car.

Lol Ok i am glad i started this thread. I dont feel so bad about my car payment i am i guess about avg with every one. I pay 560 a month for 84 months. But i am actually paying 800 a month to pay the car off quicker. The GSR out the door was 36,000 with zero down. Actually i did put money down but that went to my trade in lol.

Dude unless u paid for your evo in cash, and even if you did, doesn't give u the right to tell him he is plain stupid. Who knows maybe he thinks he can do more with the money than the 6% a year or whatever he is paying in interest. Stock market returns average 10% a year

Really? The folks at the bank said as long as it's after 6 months, it will show up as positive effect on my credit report.

Also, if you need more than a 3 year loan, don't buy this car. Your interest paid at the end of loan period will be more than 6k! You are getting into high end AUDI territory. hahahah

so its better to have higher payments and less monthly payments? so 600 a month for 60 months versus 460 a month for 72 months.

520 x 60 + 7000 = 38200, Not 35k otd

600 x 60 + 5000 = 41000, NOT 35,2xxotd
