Evo X car payments???
if you keep your car, 50832 is your otd price (do you agree?) but if you sell it then the total spend is your otd price...how ever much money you put into it is WHAT YOU PAID FOR. "thats your new otd price"
you are a vendor...you should know this, if I bought rims from you for $2000 on my CC at 12% and i end up paying it off in 5/6 years....did i really buy those rims for $2000?
should i just lie to myself and tell people i got them for $2000 even tho i put in $3100? the real price that i paid for them

dude, OTD stands for Out The Door. Meaning when you walk Out The Door. NOT After you get rid of the car.
If you choose to NOT pay off wheels I sold you for 2k for 4-5 years and you end up spending 8k on them, that means I sold them to you for 8k? NO it means I sold them for 2k and YOU let the interest build up. Just like this scenario. You walk out the door and you paid 35k lets say. When you leave, you owe 35k. Thats what you paid, whether it was cash, check, CC, Loan, barter, your wife, your kids, both, whatever it is. You paid 35k. You did not pay more then 35k OTD when you walked Out The Door. So mitsu sold you a car for 35k and I sold you wheels for 2k. Because you kept the car for the full term and did not pay early, you paid 50k for your car, but they still sold it for 35k. Because you let the wheel sit on your CC for 4/5 years, you paid 8k, but I still sold them to you for 2k.
going by your theory, then I guess I will have spent over 100k on my evo OTD because between oil changes, repairs (when mitsu denies me cuz of tint or something stupid) GAS, brakes, mods, tolls, its way higher then the original 50k
SHlT, mine as well add in any cost incurred while driving the car too. Like tickets, food I stopped to get. O yea and I drove my evo to the mall that one time and bought some clothes, so I guess that counts too. When does it end??? I cant believe your serious.
Considering you've had all these cars your mentioning obviously you have $$$, I cant believe your seriously trying to defend yourself in this debate. I dont mean to offend, but you are completely wrong in this situation. And please dont bring up the fact I'm a vendor because that has nothing to do with this. I have experience in the auto financing field, I still financed my evo X as a consumer and I'm still 100% right.
Just messin with you man.In all seriouisness I sold cars in my youth and Out The Door, is what we are all saying it is.
Either that OR the didn't put any money down and want to pay it off in 3 years. So either they cant afford it (as you assume), or they make a lot of money and want to pay it off in a short period of time.

I'm really surprised at the amount some people pay for their Evos.
On topic, OTD is the contract price not including interest. Your OTD price does NOT change, but your interest can depending on what you do.
I refinanced my IX like a month after I bought it. Does that mean my OTD price changed?? Of course not, that's just ridiculous. Interest doesn't count.
