So who traded in what to get a X
sold my 2000 subaru 2.5rs with 05 sti engine/tranny swap for the X
other than the huge power/weight ratio advantage the subaru had (it had bolt-ons and tune) the X is a way better car in every way.

i bought the wife an mazda protege5 a couple of weeks back and then just decided one day to go the the mitsu dealer to check out the evo x's...ended up going home with a blue evo x and traded the p5
srt-4
i miss the raw power and tq, but then i make a turn and realize how silly i was for even thinking the srt was ever any fun.
the evo is wife approved but she was pissed yesterday with a powerslide while making a U turn. i was giggling like a school girl as she was smacking the hell out of me. that was never an option before with the massive srt understear.

Traded in this: 2005 Mopar Stage 3 SRT-4 (w/K&W coilovers and 13" Wilwood brakes)

Unfortunately hindsight is 20/20, and I do regret trading it in for the X. If I could do it all over, I would have waited a little longer, kept the SRT-4 and bought a 2010 Evo X as a second car.
I still have SRT-4 parts in the garage (including an extra Mopar Stage 3 turbo), so who knows, maybe I'll buy another one someday.

I miss it.
