So who traded in what to get a X
07 Audi A3. Had TE37s, Alcon brakes, STaSIS Suspension, Full Oettinger Kit.
Don't regret it one bit. Even after all the upgrades, I realized the Audi just wasn't the right base for what I wanted in a performance car. I have plenty of time in life later on to drive a luxury car!

I traded in a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3. The MS3 felt just as fast as the Evo X, but I don't regret it one bit. The clutch was so springy on the MS3...it drove me crazy (enough to trade it in!!).
Also, my insurance went down ha ha ha ha.
Sold this:

To get this:

Do I regret it? Sometimes... The S was quick but 90% track and 10% street.
Not too fun if I wasn't at the track. Hopefully I can get the X just as fast but keep it 90% street 10% track

I did not trade in, just added to the fleet.
Currently in stock:
72 Buick Skylark post car 462 CI (granny car that has wicked torque)
72 Corvette (mild custom with 383 stroker...still in process)
03 Toyota Sequoia (family truckster)
91 Honda Accord EX Coupe 5 speed (mint with 85k, I think I am going to part with this one)
08 Evo X this is my daily driver, I turned 40 last fall, don't know how many people my age drive an X? This is my first turbo car. (no mods but since BUSCHUR is 1 hour away....I am getting tempted for at least a tune) This car is a good balance between performance, comfort, looks, winter use sport car, still can get the family in there. My wife just thinks its a firm riding family sedan!! At least she likes the seats.

135i.
I miss the power, comfort, and sheer quietness when I think of it, but then I remember I have 0% on this car, got an amazing deal, and am saving thousands of dollars over the term, I don't regret it a bit.

I traded a 2008 GTS in for my GSR. I use to own a heavily modified 2000 3.8 V6 Mustang and the EVO crushes it in every way possible!I just don't get it, everyone says the X is slow but from 0-60 (stock for stock) it matches that of the 9! The Evo's top end isn't the greatest but it would have no problem beating a stock SRT-4, Cobalt SS, S2000 and G35/350Z. But once again, if you want a straight line car, maybe you made the wrong choice by buying an EVO X?

lol!
