blowed up 07 Speed 3....needed a better platform (AWD, engine, turbo)...props to Mazda...boo on the 2.3L

 

Hi, im new here! I just traded my 2008 Saturn Sky Redline that i have since a year already! Love the design of the Sky but i live in Canada and i usually dont take the car out in the winter because of my oversea job.

But after a year with the car, im sad to let it go for the style but it has zero practical side and the reliability is below the average. On our Quebec road the sky is really not the best ride. You sit right on the rear suspension so you keep jumping in the car and dangerous to drive in the rain. But yeah its a beauty!

I've lost money on my trade but now i know i own something with a lot more practical side and better reliability and i will probably get more for the money than pay for a sky that i can even take a 12 packs of Pepsi back home or go on a trip with a normal suitcase other than packing my stuff in plastic bag.

Im sure after couple of weeks i will really enjoy my EVO. Taking my nephew for some ride with me! Its a GSR white!

 

Traded in my 04 E55 AMG. Miss the torque (516) but a few mods will help out with that. The X is a lot more fun to drive

2004 G35X. Loved the note on that car and the smooth powerband, but after doing an easy run through the canyons 20 mph faster than then the G35x could erased any potential regrets. The only thing I might regret going forward was whether or not I should have paid the additional $150 per month for the 335xi.

 

That's funny, a friend of mine just traded his IX for an 04 E55 AMG on Friday. Beautiful engine on that car, but +1 on the Evo being more fun.

 

traded my 05 STI for Evo X MR. Lovin it.. more quiet.

 

the X MR s worth ur soul so trade that in. =] lol i traded a IX.

 

Traded my 2008 S2000 CR. The X is faster and more practical. The CR handled like a son of a b*$#h though......

 

i sold my evo8 to get a x but still waiting for the 09 models

Only thing I miss is the honda transmission other than that I'm amazed at the performance difference. Front wheel drive FTL

 

Traded in mazda rx-8 for my X. I do miss the smaller tighter feel of the rx-8 but no regrets. The rx-8 was a fun car but my experience was marred by incidents with it from the start. The mazda was far from what I would consider a quality car with constant minor problems.


Loving the X so far, due to get it back from dealer today having the NAV installed.

 

Go a job closer to home so I Dumped my 07 Prius for a RR Evo X.

Got many looks in that car (mostly from girls), but EVERYONE looks at the X.... And drools :P
