Didnt trade in (probably would have gotten close to nothing )But sold my Civic EF9 and combined a year's worth of savings Dont regret it one bit.....although I miss the damn gas mileage on my civic

 

I sold my 05 Type-S to get my X. I have no regrets.

 

I sold my Porsche 911SC to get my GSR. Best thing I have ever done automotively.

I'm not sure there much comparison of the two. The 335i seemed to be quicker in a straight line but the Evo would eat its lunch on the track. Evo is raw ,the BMW was more refined. The reason I switched was because I wanted the awd and the sst. Hope that answers your question.

 

05 Scion tC. Was a great car for 4 years (got it in mid-04) but I wanted 4 doors and more powah!

 

I traded my '05 STI. It's definitely an upgrade with all the gadgets on the MR, and the transmission is a peek into the future.

 

I didn't trade in anything....... but I sold my '04 Dodge Viper SRT-10. Since I haven't driven the Evo yet (still at the dealership having full leather interior installed)....... I can't tell you if I regret it or not! Actually, I have NEVER driven an Evo yet (didn't even test drive one)! Just liked the looks and read soooooo many reviews! Viper wasn't a daily driver......... Evo will be!

 

I kept my '08 STI and was going to sell the '07 Miata when I bought the X, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. No regrets.

 

07 Outlander no regrets.. Except that I have owned and traded so many freakin cars that I am a little more upside down in my GSR than I would like to be...

 

Lightly Modded MR-2 turbo here...and a 94 Rx-7 Twin Turbo before that. Neither of them compare to the X.

You should take it to the track and let us know how it compares to the lotus.

Traded in my 08 GTS for the X, and traded in my 00 taurus station wagon for the GTS. So NOOOO regrets here... such a better car.

 

Traded in the Porker and sold the VIII shortly after.
