Quote: im not saying I wouldnt take AYC on a IX, but im saying, its nice to have, but dont bash the IX for not having it. Its just a different car (and in my opinion, alot more fun) to drive on the track. Its a different car that takes a different kind of driver. I just feel like with all these "driver aids" the true skill of learning how to actually go around a track is lost. BTW, im not that crazy old guy or anything that says "back in my car cars used to go uphill both ways...blah blah blah", im only 25, although only been instructing for 3 years. But I do feel like there is something lost with all these cars coming out with all these gadgets, electronic or not.
well the only probem is here the IX was designed with the S-AYC. Just they left out for the states...
I drove the AYC before but never the S-AYC. So far i can tell you about this S-AYC, much more fun drive with it, then without it. And yes you need a skill to drive around fast. The S-AYC will NOT drive the car without you

"I just feel like with all these "driver aids" the true skill of learning how to actually go around a track is lost. "
You clearly never driven the X .
It will punish you if you think that way.

And by the way if you feel that way , you are in the wrong car from the beginning . you need an Exige. The IX have alots of helps
already , and i do not even mention the JDM or EU specs
and yes those groupe N rally drivers are not like old times... Now everybody can drive in the rally is not hard anymore . Thanks for those S-AYC and so on gadgets
