i am def getting an aftermarket clutch on the IX, but on the X, I want to keep it as stock as possible so most of it is covered under warranty.
+1, I would be a little embarassed.
along time ago I had a 3 cyl turbo sprint that with my two fat friends in the back would just ignite the front tire and not move up an incline. I finally made it. But I think my friends were embarrassed.
LOL That reminds me of a time, my friend and I went to a concert with his ex girlfriend that we hadn't seen in 5 years. Long story short, she gain a 150 lbs and it kept bottom out the mufflers big time with her in back, particularly up the parking ramps. It was already a shock on how much weight she had gained and we were trying to be polite, but was it was the longest car ride ever trying not to burst out in laughter...
Starting on hills in this vehicle is not easy. Even the pro's at Motortrend stated that on certain hills they would either burn the clutch or stall the car. Being in western PA I just take alternative routes when the hills are that bad.

lol i actually did have the ferrari, took both cars to canada and we decided to all take the evo to go karting.
the IX is the one thats getting back seat removed and the cage put in
I just don't see it. I mean, I have no trouble with hills at all and at one point had a few bottles of filled propane and bricks in my car and on hills I was fine. Just added a bit more gas. If worst comes to worst just slip it at 2.5-3k rpm...no big deal.
