WTF are you doing in here then? GTFO!!! I kid, I kid. R32s are sweet cars. I test drove that before I got the MR, very solid.

Back on topic, so when you floor it, does the RPM maintain at 5000 or do you have to pop the brakes right when it it's 5Gs?...I guess I should try it to find out.

When done properly after you floor it...it will hold at 5000 rpm for you to launch

not sure how long it can hold it there....I have never tried that scenario

I figured it out. Page 3-123 in the Manual.
-Pressing the ASC OFF switch, both the skid control function and traction control function are turned OFF.
-Pressing down the ASC OFF switch for 3 seconds or longer, deactivates the ASC and the braking control of the AYC.

So i guess for launching the car pressing the ASC OFF once would be the best way?

And if anyone was wondering you are able to launch the car in manual mode.

Is it possible (when getting a tune) to modify the launch control to be more aggressive?

Do you launch the car in manual mode the same way?

Someone would have to develop software to modify the transmission control module which is separate from the ECU (so EcuTek or EcuFlash wouldn't be able to change the transmission).

Right that makes sense.

If possible, can you give a detailed explanation please?

agree with above, but after the "weak" launch the subsequent shifts are very smooth with a constant uninterrupted surge.....

in my old 05 MR, it was tough to be smooth and not to blow up the weaker 6 sp transmission.....

So what was the definitive answer to this thread?

We know there is a difference between pressing the ASC OFF button once and pressing and holding the ASC OFF button, however does it make a difference as it pertains to launches?

Can you launch the car in manual super-sport mode and shift yourself?

Any MR owners tested the difference between launching after just pressing the ASC button once and pressing and holding the ASC button for 3 seconds?

Does the launch mode work in manual mode as well or do you have to just keep it in D?
