Pause in second

Anyone still have that annoying pause/break for about 300-500rpm when shifting fast to second gear from 7k+ rpm? When I hit second gear it pauses for a sec and than gets on it and goes. I can't get rid of that...what is that and how did you guys get rid of this? I think boost lag is a bit more consistent than that. Is this that pill thing or what? I think by now people have noticed so what you guys do? Does the tune fix it?

The consensus seems to think that running very rich bogs the motor during the shift. You did not state if you have had any of the factory reflashes. The second factory reflash help a lot of the hesitation- not 100 percent, but it is a good place to start.

If you car needs to be "re-flashed" by the dealer that will clear it out .

A custom tune will fix it. The car is way too rich even with the second factory reflash.

Yep, I have the second factory reflash and it helps, but it's still there a little bit. I've driven noizes car after the reflash and it's a night and day difference. It has no bogs, it's fast, smooth, and repeatable. The problem and solution all lie within the tune.

That is what I thought . Looks like I have to save and shell out the 750. Thanks dudes. .. Speaking of consistent runs, I went for a drive yesterday night and it was extremely cool out side and with some comfortable wind...the car ran so good every pull...than comes a sunny middle time of the day when it is nearing 90 degrees and humid and it runs so sluggish and different every time almost...I wish it ran like it ran yesterday night all the time.
