Warranty Limit?

Exactly how far can you go modding the evo x before loosing the warranty? Better yet, what can you do that mitsubishi approves of?

You lost your warranty when you bought the car

But on a serious note... Some dealers will work with you and help you (my dealer still warranties my stuff even though the car is modded, others will void your warranty for having a cone intake. It's hit or miss.

Most ralliart products are covered under warranty. But like others have said depends on the dealer.

The warranty is void after you leave the lot. I know that sounds like an over-statement but it's not. They will reem you any way they can. My dealer was pissy after I put the 3m bra on, saying it was aftermarket and they don't want to deal with the paint chipping.

As far as mods; Take them off when you go. Basicly, if it increases the power it puts strain on all the parts. Hence void.
