I'm really interested in buying a GSR. I've been reading the forums for a while and remembering reading all about the factory ECU reflashes that were coming out to address the idling issues and lack of top end power.

Have most of these problems been resolved or do they still exist?

Will the 2009 models have these issues sorted out?

depends on when the unsold gsr's were built.

i haven't gotten my reflashes. (dhead dealership claims there is no such thing). and my CEL is back on again, which the dealer claims is nothing too. i got a great dealer get ready for mitsu service.

the 09s should be sorted out. i would imagine.

 

After getting my flashed at the local dealership they said all of the Evo X's that come into service will be flashed if it needs one since I reported such an improvement when they did mine. Of course if you have an ECU reflash it would be a good idea to warn any dealership so they don't overwrite it even if they had good intentions.
